Discipline Master: Simulator is the upcoming evolution of the Discipline Master series. Play as a Student, Prefect or the Discipine Master himself in a senior school simulation with hundreds of students and staff.
Currently in development, a beta release is targeted for late July / early August 2026. More information and a dedicated page will be launched as the release gets closer.
Work on Simulator is advancing steadily this summer. While we unfortunately will not meet our original target of around June 2nd, we can clearly see the light at the end of the tunnel. The final feature set is now locked in and the core simulation engine is stable and performing well.
Over the next two months, our focus will be on completing secondary gameplay systems, polishing mechanics and replacing placeholder graphics with final assets.
For background, the developmental and prototype versions of Simulator released in 2025 were built on a modified Discipline Master: Graduation engine (itself an updated version of the Architect engine). In contrast, the upcoming beta has been built entirely from scratch and shares no engine lineage with the earlier D.M. games. We have also transitioned from a 2D side-scrolling perspective to a 2.5D view. This change allows for a much more accurate, near-true-to-scale campus environment for players to experience.
It's been a long road for Simulator, but we're nearly at the finish line. As soon as we're ready to launch the beta, we’ll let you know right away!
