We are pleased to announce that Discipline Master: Candidate has been released!

Going Forward
Our immediate focus post-release is patching any bugs or other issues that come up. Beyond that we are planning to implement a "Respanker/Replay" mode of sorts for the first major post-release update. [This has been implemented as of v1.1.]

Bugs & Scripting Errors
As almost always with a new release you may encounter some bugs during gameplay. Our team has been hard at work debugging the last few weeks, but it is certainly possible some remain. Whereas our previous release, Monitor & Prefect, was a more classic linear adventure, Candidate is the opposite. For example M&P had about 30 triggers and 6 variables; Candidate has over 250 triggers and 80 variables. There are large number of possible choices and an absolute myriad amount of possible choice decesion combinations.

So if you encounter a bug please let us know! We can usually fix them quite fast once we are made of aware of them!

Known Issues
If you are in a corporal punishment session and the instrument and marks go invisible or begin to behave strangely usually saving the game, exiting the game and reloading will clear the issue. This issue tends to manifest itself more often during extended playthroughs.

Console Commands

What is the console? It's basically a command line that lets you input instructions directly to the game's internal command parser. It is opened and closed using the tilde ~ or F10 key. The console is mainly used by the developers for debugging, but in some cases can help players bypass an unpatched bug or scripting error. (Update in DMC: The console now saves the last command entered; open the console and then press the up arrow key)

"unlockall" - unlocks all doors in the game
"cp.disablecontrols" - disables the CP mode control panel
"cp.enablecontrols" - enables the CP mode control panel
"cp.freeze" - prevents mouse from spanking
"cp.unfreeze" - allows mouse to spank
"cp.tooldown" - moves a tool's position (if applicable)
"cp.swing" - executes a spank manually
