We are pleased to announce the release of Discipline Master: Candidate ("DMC"). Candidate is the fifth game in the Discipline Master series. The game story takes place in the same universe as Discipline Master: Architect ("DMA"), Discipline Master: Road Not Taken ("RNT") and Discipline Master: Monitor & Prefect ("M&P").
DMC Story: Mr. Gen, the school's Discipline Master from previous games, is being promoted to Headmaster - and his cane is up for grabs! Several candidates have applied to be the new Discipline Master; the player will take control of one of these candidates. Their actions over a trial period will determine if they get the Discipline Master job at the end of the game.
Choice: is a key element of DMC. It is up to the player to decide how to deal with students who have been written up. Shall you use the cane? The paddle? Both or some other tool? Or perhaps you think the offense is not so great and detention will suffice; further still maybe the charges in your care need a public punishment at the weekly discipline assembly? There are also several tie in side-quests played as other characters which can have an impact on the main story line.
All in all if you have enjoyed the previous Discipline Master games we think you will love Discipline Master: Candidate!

A: Windows and Mac. There is also an unofficial/unsupported Linux build available as well. (An Android port is in the works for a later date.)

A: English only for now.
Q: Will there be a Chinese localization?
A: Unlikely; the Chinese localization of Road Not Taken sold far below the copies needed to make further localizations worthwhile.

I can tell already I love this concept, the huge carients it can bring and the nice touches you added like being able to hear the punishmed on the corridor form the class. I only got as far as the first roeund of student in the office though as stated the game froze for me at that point
It seems to be only if you opted to CP him in a certain sequence. Will be releasing a hotfix later today to address this. To in the interim to bypass open up the console (~ or F10 key) and type in:
"conversation.6.panel.30" (minus the quotes) and hit enter. Then hit ~ or F10 again to close the console.
[This issue has been fixed in game clients downloaded after 10:30 AM U.S. Eastern time on July 9th]
