Hello everyone! This is what will probably be the first and only developer diary for Discipline Master: Splintered Graduation ("DMSG") prior to release.
First I will address the premise of the DMSG storyline: At first glace it may seem quite strange (a splintered timeline and characters jumping through different points in time), however let me assure you that DMSG is indeed a proper Discipline Master game. Our goal with DMSG is to tell different stories in the D.M. universe (not unlike in Tales) while also serving as a proper send off for a school and characters that first made their appearances all so many years ago.
The placing of actors from Bottom Line Studios into a game world has been something we've been wanting to do for quite sometime, and we're glad our partners at BLS were finally able to shoot material with Alex and Aiden that will make this a reality. We originally planned have them star in their own smaller, stand-alone D.M. game ('Alex and Aiden in Discipline Master'), but in the end decided to incorporate them into splintered timeline premise of DMSG. That said, their appearance is a special one; they are not the main focus of the DMSG.
All in all if you enjoyed Tales, I think you will love Splintered Graduation.
We are currently targeting the first week of July 2024 as the release date.
System requirements will be the same previous D.M. titles; with the game officially available for Windows and Mac, along with an unsupported Linux build. We would like to port Splintered Graduation to Android alongside Tales; however it's hard to say if they'll be available at the same time as the Windows/Mac/Linux platforms.
